1-1 Therapy with direct care staff, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT ) that assists with addressing the areas of concern and works directly with the patient daily. Board certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) will meet with family at minimum, once per week, to address new or ongoing concerns, update programs, train staff, assess patient, and overall get to spend time with the patient. Our services are patient centered therefore, we do not limit by a minimum required set of hours per week, we leave the hour recommendation to the overseeing BCBA and their experience along with interview and overall knowledge of the Families needs and availability. We STRONGLY encourage families to understand and accept the recommended hours by the BCBA as these hours are being recommended based on assessment and current observed levels. For our services to be effective, the amount of hours per week is critical to the success.
We attend all school meetings, collaborate with all school staff, and at times, work directly with the school to assist at home when need be. Some charter schools allow for us to attend in class however, we do take in all considerations BEFORE we agree to attend in the school setting as we want to support the schools and families over feeling like we are stepping in.
We can work with the Utah parents advocate team and ensure the best quality of assistance when advocating for your children's rights
